RU-486 was approved five years ago to the day

On September 28th, 2000, after a long 12-year battle, the U.S. government approved the use of the abortion pill RU-486. Known also by it's tradename Mifeprex (Dance Laboratories), it has been used by more than 460,000 women since the FDA's approval.

Communists everywhere celebrate and seek to extend the reproductive rights of women as part of the struggle for women's liberation through socialist revolution.
